The Univex Uniflash camera was manufactured by the Universal Camera Corporation in circa 1940. a low cost camera that was made from molded plastic called textolite produced from General Electric. Advertised as the only camera supporting a news-type flash at this low price. The camera took six 1 1/2 x 1 1/8 inch exposures on Univex no. 00 roll film. It was fitted with Vitar 60 mm fixed focus lens and a simple instantaneous shutter. Feature a hot shoe for a quickly attachable and synchronized flash unit with automatic bulb ejector.
