  Uniflex I Camera

The Uniflex I camera was manufactured by Universal Camera Corporation in circa 1948. A Twin Lens Reflex (TRL) camera constructed of die cast aluminum with morocco grain covering. The Uniflex captured twelve 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch square sized negatives on either no. 120 or no. 620 eight exposure roll film. It was fitted with a coated f4.5 viewing lens and a coated f5.6 Achromat picture taking lens with unitary focusing from 3 ft. to infinity and paired with a variable shutter with speeds from 1/25th to 1/200th of a second. Other features included a ground glass focusing viewer with moveable lens platform, front surface reflex mirror, hi-power magnifying glass and Automatic uni-hood operation. Originally priced at $48.00 usd.
