  Uniflex II Camera

The Uniflex II camera was manufactured by Universal Camera Corporation in circa 1949. Similar to the Uniflex I but with an improved lens. A Twin Lens Reflex (TRL) camera constructed of die cast aluminum with morocco grain covering. The Uniflex II captured twelve 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch square sized negatives on either no. 120 or no. 620 eight exposure roll film. It was fitted with a coated f3.8 viewing lens and a coated f4.5 picture taking lens with unitary focusing from 3 ft. to infinity and paired with a variable shutter with speeds from 1/10th to 1/200th of a second plus bulb. (The Uniflex I had a 4.5 viewing and a f5.6 taking). Other features included a ground glass focusing viewer with moveable lens platform, front surface reflex mirror, hi-power magnifying glass and Automatic uni-hood operation. Originally priced at $75.00 usd.
