The Universal Zenith camera was manufactured by the Universal Camera Corporation in circa 1939. The camera was constructed of lightweight aluminum and covered in black leather covering with the exposed metal chrome finished. It capturing six 1 1â„2 × ​1 1â„8 inch exposures on no. 00 univex roll film. It was fitted with a univex 50mm f4.5 lens and a shutter providing speeds from 1/25 to 1/200th of a second plus time and bulb. Other features included a built-in flash shoe for synchronization, micrometer focusing mount permited focus from 3 1.2 ft to infinity, optical view finder, remote shutter release and a precision pressure plate holds film in proper focal plane.
