The Bouquin Photographique camera was manufactured in 1904 by Edmund & Leon Bloch. A unique camera disguised to represent a book in order to secretly capture a photo of an unsuspecting subject. Opening the books cover reveals the view finder for focusing. The finder points in a 90 degree direction to that of the front of book and to which the photographer is facing. The camera captured 45 x 107mm on glass plates.
