The Clartex camera was manufactured by Olbia Camera Manufacturing company of Paris France in circa 1945. A simple camera constructed of red-brown colored bakelite with a metal faceplate. It was capable of capturing 6x6cm exposures on no. 620 roll film. This more uncommon camera version differed from a second model by featuring additional controls on the face-plate to switch between time and bulb and also for a second iris diaphragm.
