The Oblia Omega Eikon camera was manufactured by Olbia Camera Manufacturing company of Paris France in circa 1947. A simple twin lens reflex (TLR) camera constructed of black colored bakelite with Omega Stamped into the metal view finder. It was capable of capturing 6x6cm exposures on no. 620 roll film. It featured a front focusing H Roussel Trylor f4.5 75mm lens and a 1/25 to 1/150th of a second shutter with time and bulb. This camera name was shortly changed to Olbia after a law suit brought on by Swiss watch maker Omega cited infringement as the marketing campaign drew parallels to the watch makers brand, in addition to a play on zeiss Ikon reputation by using the word Eikon. A metal lable was placed over the embossed omega on the view finder.
