The Leidox camera was manufactured by Leidolf company of Wetzlar, Western Germany in circa 1949. A square designed camera capable of capturing 4x4 cm exposures on no. 127 roll film. Constructed of a die-cast aluminum body with black leatherette covering. It was fitted with a Triplet 50mm f3.8 lens and a Vario shutter providing 1/25th, 1/75th and 1/200th of a second speeds, plus bulb. It also featured a built-in optical view finder and flash synchronization
