The Lordette camera was manufactured by Leidolf company of Wetzlar, Western Germany in circa 1955. A rectangle shaped metal camera designed to capture 24 x 36mm exposures on standard 35mm roll film. Similar to the later version of the Lordox camera. It was fitted with a Triplet 50mm f3.8 lens and a Vario shutter providing 1/25th, 1/75th and 1/200th of a second speeds, plus bulb. It also featured a built-in optical view finder and flash synchronization.
