  Lordomatic II Camera

The Lordomatic II camera was manufactured by Leidolf company of Wetzlar, Germany in circa 1958. Similar to the Lordomatic I camera but with a selenium meter. Early models are identified by Loromatic on the front face and a II stamped on the back of the top plate along with the serial number. The later models just have Lordomatic II stamped in the front. Constructed of a die-cast aluminum body with leatherette covering and satin chrome trim. The camera is designed to capture twenty or thirty-six 24 x 36mm exposures on standard 35mm roll film. It was fitted with a Lordonar 50mm f2.8 lens and a Prontor-SLK shutter providing eight speeds of 1 to 1/300th of a second, plus bulb. It also featured a built-in bright-frame view finder, double exposure prevention and flash synchronization.
