The later version of the Lordox camera was manufactured by Leidolf company of Wetzlar, Germany in circa 1957. This later model was made with and without a rangefinder. The version without the rangefinder had either a black or a chromed front face-plate. The camera body was constructed of a die-cast aluminum body with leatherette covering and satin chrome trim. It was fitted with a fixed Triplon 50mm f3.8 lens with a Pronto shutter providing speeds of 1 to 1/300th of a second, plus bulb. It also featured a built-in optical eye-level view finder, double exposure prevention and flash synchronization.
