  AHI Hit-Type Sub-miniature Camera

The AHI Hit-Type camera was manufactured in Japan from an unknown manufacturer in circa 1948. It was an inexpensive novelty camera that was constructed of molded pot-metal with leatherette covering and a metal faceplate imprinted with the name AHI with six stars. It took 14×14mm exposures on narrow paper-backed 17.5mm film. The miniature camera was fitted with a fixed focus lens and an simple instantaneous shutter.
