The Arrow hit-type camera was manufactured in Japan from an unknown manufacturer in circa 1952. It was an inexpensive and common miniature novelty camera that was constructed of molded pot-metal with leatherette covering. It has a metal face-plate imprinted with the name Arrow with three stars on each side and the phrase "MADE IN JAPAN" on the bottom, dating the camera into the fifties. It took 14x14mm exposures on narrow paper-backed 17.5mm film. The miniature camera was fitted with a fixed focus lens and an simple instantaneous shutter.
