The I.G.B. hit-type camera was manufactured in Japan in circa 1950's. It was an inexpensive novelty camera that was constructed of stamped metal with leatherette covering. The camera was made with a black face-plate with the name I. G. B. imprinted on the top with three stars on each side and CAMERA printed on the bottom. The camera took 14×14mm exposures on narrow paper-backed 17.5mm film. The camera was fitted with a fixed focus lens and a simple instantaneous shutter.
