The KENT hit-type camera was manufactured in Japan from an unknown manufacturer in circa 1945-1952. Kent is very common branding of this inexpensive novelty camera. It was constructed of molded pot-metal with leatherette covering. It has a metal face-plate imprinted with the name KENT with three stars on each side and the phrase "MADE IN JAPAN" on the bottom. It took 14 x 14mm exposures on narrow paper-backed 17.5mm film with a single speed instantaneous shutter and a fixed focus lens.
