The Kolt hit-type camera was manufactured in Japan by Okada Optical Industrial Co., Ltd. a translation of Okada K?gaku Seiki K.K. or shortened with OKADO, in circa 1950. It was constructed of molded pot-metal with black paper covering. It has a metal face-plate imprinted with the name KOLT on the top and the word OKAKO on the bottom. It took 13 x 13mm exposures on narrow paper-backed 17.5mm film with a single speed instantaneous shutter and a 4.5f fixed focus Anastigmat lens. It was sold with a brown leather case with a strap.
