  Mighty Hit-type Subminiature Camera

The Mighty hit-type camera was manufactured in Japan by Toko in circa 1945 -1952. The camera was constructed of molded metal with black, brown or red leatherette covering. It was a little better quality than the typical Hit-type cameraas of the day. It has a metal face-plate imprinted with the name MIGHTY on the top and TOKO P.W. on the face-plate bottom. The face plate is either white (silver) or black. Some are marked on the bottom of the camera with the phrase "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN". The camera took 14 x 14mm exposures on narrow paper-backed 17.5mm film. It featured a single speed instantaneous shutter and a 25mm f4.5 fixed-focus TOKO 1:4.5 T.K.P.W lens. Unlike other Hit cameras, the Mighty featured a eye-level viewfinder and a a waist-level finder built-in next to the regular viewfinder.
