The Mini Camera hit-type camera was manufactured in Hong Kong from an unknown manufacturer in circa c1952. Most of Hit-type cameras were made in Japan so this is an early knock-off from a different country. The camera was similar in constructed with molded pot-metal and leatherette covering. It has a common style metal face-plate imprinted with the name MINI CAMERA printed on top and three stars on each side and the phrase "MADE IN Hong Kong" on the bottom. The camera took 14 x 14mm exposures on paper-backed 17.5mm film. It featured a simple single speed instantaneous shutter and a fixed focus lens
