  Regent Hit-type Subminiature Camera

The Regent hit-type camera was manufactured in Japan from an unknown manufacturer in approximately circa 1945 to 1952. The camera was similar in metal construction and leatherette covering as other hit-type cameras. It has a common style metal face-plate imprinted with the name REGENT on top and three stars on each side and the phrase "MADE IN JAPAN" on the bottom. The camera took 14 x 14mm exposures on paper-backed 17.5mm film. It featured a simple single speed instantaneous shutter and a fixed focus lens
