  Siraton Hit-type Subminiature Camera

The Siraton hit-type camera was manufactured in Japan from an unknown manufacturer in circa 1945-1952. The Siraton camera was constructed of metal with a black leatherette covering. It has a metal face-plate imprinted with the name SIRATON with one star on each side and the phrase "MADE IN JAPAN" on the bottom. It took 14 x 14mm exposures on narrow paper-backed 17.5mm film. It was fitted with a single speed instantaneous shutter and a fixed focus lens.
