The Walklenz hit-type camera was manufactured in Japan from an unknown manufacturer in circa 1948-1952. The camera body was made of metal and covered with black leatherette. It has a metal face-plate imprinted with the name WALKLENZ on the top with three stars on each side and the phrase "MADE IN JAPAN" on the bottom. It took 14 x 14mm exposures on narrow paper-backed 17.5mm film. It was fitted with a single speed instantaneous shutter and a fixed focus lens.
