  Field Camera by J.A. Anderson

The J.A. Anderson Field Camera was manufactured in Chicago, Illinois around circa 1888. It was constructed of a mahogany body with a cherry wood base for stability. The fittings were lacquered brass hardware and the bellows made of black fabric. Designed with a manual rear focus and a fine focusing knob. Additional features consisted of a rising front, a reversible image by rotating the plate holder. Sizes offered were 6 1/2 x 8 1/2, 8 x 10, 10 x 12, 11 x 14, 14 x 17, 17 x 20, 18 x 22, 20 x 24.
