  Niagara Junior Camera

The Niagara Jr. camera was manufactured by the Niagara Camera Company located at 331-333 main St. in Buffalo New York from circa 1898. The Niagara Jr was a practical little camera built especially for the new beginner who wishes to learn the art of photography without a large outlay of money. Advertisements depicted pictures of children.

The Niagara Junior Camera took exposures 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches in size on roll film or was also capable of taking images on glass plates that were 2 x 2 inches in size. This little camera featured a specially ground lens and shutter arranged for snap shot and time exposures. The price was an amazing 0.35 cents in 1898.
