The Pecto No. 1 camera was manufactured by the Columbia Camera company of London England in Circa 1897. Designed with good workmanship at a low price. The Pecto features a ground glass focusing screen, shaded by an automatically opening hood. The back is able to be removed and replaced with an Eastman Roll holder without the use of an adapter. The lens is a single achromatic with a time and instantaneous shutter accompanied by a reversible view finder. Available in two sizes a quarter plate and the 5x4 inch size priced at $30 and $35 respectively in 1900.
