  Frena No. 00 Camera by R. J. Beck

The Frena No. 00 Camera was manufactured by the R. J. Beck Company in circa 1897. It was a small plate box design made to accomodate travelers and portability. This camera capturing images 3 1/4 x 2 5/8 inches in size. This is the smallest Frena made. Fitted with a 4 1/4 inch Beck single achromatic lens with rotating diaphragms and a shutter with speeds from 1/5 to 1/80 of a second, including time exposures. Detachable film box was able to carry 40 cut films. This small camera measures 9 1/2 x 5 x 3 1/2 inches and weighs 2 3/4 lbs. Original price of camera costs £2 15s.

A presentation model was also available. It was covered in buff calf leather and fitted with highly polished brass trimmings. The Frena No. 00 Camera presentation model cost was £4 8s 8d.
