  Premo View Camera by Rochester Optical Co.


The Premo View camera was designed as a commercial camera. The camera was originally produced by the Rochester Optical Company until 1903 until the company was sold. Then production was continued by the Eastman Kodak Company. The Premo View was produced from 1902 to 1915. Constructed of fine mahogany and brass lacquered hardware. The built-in tripod holder allows for adjustment in the camera so that the front and back can always be balanced. The long bellows will accommodate lenses of exceedingly long focus and will not cut into the fields of wide angles. Other features include front and back focus attachments, horizontal and vertical swings, A large rising front range, reversible back, Extra strong lens board to accommodate a large array of standard lenses. Camera comes with a carry case and tripod. Available in 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 and 8 x 10 sizes.
