The Hinton Reflex Camera was marketed by Hinton & Co. of 38 Bedford St. Strand, London in circa 1898. Described as a perfect and compact hand camera possessing all the advantages of a twin lens camera with only half its bulk, weight and price. It featured a full size, top mounted view finder for accurate image focusing. It was made in two sizes, a quarter plate and a 5 x 4 inch. Pricing for the quarter plate Hinton Reflex camera ranged in 1898 from £5 to £13 and the 5 x 4 inch started at £14 and up from there.
