The Star Folding Camera was manufactured by the Marion & Co. of Soho Square London in circa 1904. It was similar to the Star Rollfilm Camera, except it was designed for glass plates. This folding camera was capable of capturing quarter plate exposures, 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch, on standard roll film. It was covered in morocco leather and fitted with a rapid rectilinear lens mounted in a Baush and Lomb "Unicum" shutter. Features included a rising, falling and cross swing front, a reversible brilliant view finder, a ground glass focusing screen and three metal plate holders. The Star Folding Camera was priced at 45 Shillings.
