The Ultra Camera was manufactured by Marion & Co. in circa 1887. The camera was constructed of best made Spanish mahogany with a leather bellows. It was made in at least two sizes capable of providing 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 inch or 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inch exposures on glass plates. It featured rack and pinion adjustment, double swing, rising and falling front, 3 backs, a lens, and guillotine shutter. The outfit also included a tripod and all the supplies and chemicals needed to produce photographs. The Ultra Camera was priced at £11 in 1887.
