The Useful Camera Set was manufactured by Marion & Co. in circa 1885. The simple and inexpensive camera was constructed of good mahogany. It was capable of providing 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inch exposures on glass plates. It featured rack and pinion adjustment, rising and falling front, a good view lens, and guillotine instantaneous shutter, and a strong sliding tripod. The United Camera was priced at £4 4s.
