  Bicycle Folding Cyclone No. 12 - 15

The Bicycle Folding Cyclone No. 12 through No. 15 cameras were sold by the Western Camera Manufacturing Company in circa 1897. All models utilized the same camera design. The models differed by the size and lens combination.

The No. 12 was capable of taking 4 x 5 inch exposures and the No. 13 took 5 x 7 inch exposures. Both were fitted with Western's Instantaneous Symmetrical shutter.

The No. 14 was capable of taking 4 x 5 inch exposures and the No. 15 took 5 x 7 inch exposures. Both were fitted with Western's Single Achromatic lens.

These cameras were made from the finest polished cherry, instead of the traditional mahogany, and covered with fine quality black grain morocco leather. The metal parts were nickel plated and highly finished. The shutter was of special design for these cameras, providing three speeds, bulb, instantaneous and time exposure, with an iris diaphragm. Features included a rising and falling front with side swing, rear ground glass with a detachable focusing hood , a reversible hooded finder, a focusing scale, and two tripod sockets. The No. 12 was priced at $14.00, the No. 13 at $19.00, the No. 14 at $10.00 and the No. 15 at $15.00.
