The Folding Cyclone Cameras No. 18 and 19 were sold by the Western Camera Manufacturing Company in circa 1897. Specially designed as a hand camera and similar to the No.s 8 and 9 except for hand. The cameras were constructed of the finest polished mahogany. The outside box is covered with fine quality black grain morocco leather and the metal parts were nickel plated and highly finished. It was fitted with a Instantaneous Symmetrical Lens and the improved shutter provided exposures from 1 second to 1/100th of a second. The shutter included an iris diaphragm. It featured a detachable rear hood with a magnifier accompanied with rack and pinion movement for accurate focusing. The front has rising, falling and cross swing movement. The No. 18 was capable of taking 4 x 5 inch sized exposures and priced at $18.00. The No. 19 took 5 x 7 inch exposures and cost $25.00.
