The Folding Cyclone No. 26 camera was sold by the Western Camera Manufacturing Company in circa 1898. The No. 26 was capable of taking 4 x 5 inch exposures on glass plates. This camera was designed with the shutter built into the front standard and provides bulb, time and instantaneous release. It can accommodate two spare glass plate holders in the back of the camera. The lens is a single achromatic meniscus combination providing excellent depth. The camera is constructed polished mahogany, and covered with fine quality black grain morocco leather. The metal parts were nickel plated and highly finished. The Folding Cyclone No. 26 camera was originally priced at $7.00.
