The Cyclone Junior Camera was manufactured by the Western Camera Co. of Chicago, Illinois from 1897 to 1899. It was a strongly made self contained camera taking exposures 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches on a glass plate. The camera carried three double plate holders. It measured 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 7 inches. It featured a brilliant square finder, an achromatic lens and a time and instantaneous shutter. A tripod socket was provided so that it could be used for hand or tripod work. Originally priced at $3.50, which included one double plate holder.
