The Magazine Cyclone No. 2 camera was manufactured by the Western Camera Manufacturing Company from 1897 to 1899. The Magazine Cyclone No. 2 was a second generation spurring from the original cyclone camera. The No. 2 was capable of taking twelve quarter plate or 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch sized exposures on glass plates. It was fitted with a universal focus achromatic, combination meniscus lens and a Western Camera Mfg. time and instantaneous shutter. The magazine operated by the half turn of the button on top of the camera, dropping the exposed plate and leaving the next ready for exposure. The No. 2 was originally priced at $6.00.
