The No. 1 Tourist Buckeye Camera was manufactured by the American Camera Manufacturing Company of Rochester, New York in circa 1895. It was a compact folding rollfilm camera featuring a built-in lens and shutter mechanism. Similar to the Blair Tourist Hawkeye. Constructed of mahogany with leather covering and a red leather bellows. It featured a fixed focus lens capable of capturing six 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch sized negatives on roll film. A simple instantaneous and time exposure shutter with rotating diaphragms was incorporated into the front standard.
