The Silver King camera was marketed by "The Camera Man" company of Chicago Illinois in circa 1940. The camera was constructed of black plastic bakelite with a built-in eye-level view finder and fitted with a decorative metal face plate a . It featured a fixed focus meniscus lens and simple snap shot shutter providing instantaneous and time exposures. This camera was capable of producing sixteen photos 3 x 4 cm in size on no. 127 or A8 roll film. This camera design was unique in it design style but retained the same features of the Chicago Common Style of cameras.
