The Penny King Featherweight Camera was sold by the Penny King Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in circa 1955. The camera itself was probably made in Hong Kong. It was a cheap plastic camera fitted with 55mm lens described as a Magic Lens that gives sharp clear prints and beautiful enlargements and an instantaneous shutter providing 1/50 of a second speed. Usage instructions were printed on the top lid. The Penny King Company was mainly a bulk vending supply company that specialized in charms for vending machines, how ever also sold a wide variety of novelty and toy items.
