The Gevabox 6x9 was manufactured by Herman Wolf GmbH of Wuppertal, Germany, but sold and marketed by Gevaert Photo-producten in Belgium from approximately 1951 to 1954. This is considered version 1 or the waist level version of the Gevabox camera. It was constructed of metal and covered in imitation black leather. Its rigid box design featured two brilliant viewfinders for portrait or landscape photos. It was fitted with a fixed focus lens and a simple single speed shutter in addition to bulb. IT took 6x9cm exposures on standard no. 120 roll film.
