The Rex Lujo camera was manufactured by S.A.I.F. for Gevaret Industria Argentina S.A. in circa 1946. The camera was constructed of molded plastic bakelite in several colors, including black, brown and red. It was similar to the PHOTAX and MIOM of France. It featured a built-in eye-level view finder on the top and a helical telescoping front. It was fitted with an f10 fixed focus meniscus lens. The simple snapshot shutter provided a single speed, plus P. It was capable of capturing 6x9cm exposures on standard no. 120 roll film.
