The Amiflex (version I) was manufactured by the Kanto Optical Works company in circa 1952. Early version I models are identified with a small round nameplate on the sports finder door with later version I models having the more common 6-sided logo badge. This was an inexpensive twin lens reflex camera featuring an externally coupled C AMI anastigmat f3.5 80mm coated lens. Shutter speed ranged from 1/10 to 1/200 of a second, plus bulb. It accepted standard balck & white or color 120 roll film. It orignally sold for approximate $34.95 with a list price of $69.00.
