  No. 2 Buckeye box camera

The Buckeye No. 2 box camera was manufactured by the American Camera Manufacturing Company of Rochester, New York in circa 1900. It was well made box hand camera constructed of a wood body covered with leather. It was fitted with a universal focus Achromatic lens and a simple instantaneous and time shutter. The No. 1 Buckeye took 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch exposures and the No. 2 took 4 x 5 inch. Both were made for roll film use only. It was priced in 1898 at $8.00 for the smaller sized camera and $12.0 for the 4x5 camera.
