  American Senior Box Camera

The American Senior Box Camera was manufactured by the American Manufacturing Company in circa 1900. The was similar to the junior but for larger 4x5 inch plates. A well made box camera made of wood with leather covering. It was fitted with a Meniscus Achromatic lens with universal focus and an ever-set automatic instantaneous shutter. It has two view finders for vertical and horizontal images. The camera measures 5 1/4 x 6 3/4 x 8 inches, it weighs 22 ounces and has space in the back for three double plate holders providing 6 exposures. Price in 1904 at @2.00
