The Improved Long Focus Camera was manufactured by Jonathan Fallowfield in circa 1883. Advertised as the perfect camera. Constructed of mahogany with brass hardware. Features included double swing back, double action front, very long range of focus, rear ground glass focusing. Optional Brass bound models were made. The Improved Long Focus Camera was made in 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inch, 7 1/4 x 4 1/2 inch, 7 1/2 x 5 inch, 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 inch, 10 x 8 inch and 12 x 10 inch. Prices in 1883 ranged from £6 6 0 to £10 2 0.
