  New Pattern Cheap Taper Bellows Camera

The New Pattern Cheap Square Camera was introduced in circa 1898 by Jonathan Fallowfied. A traditional design adapted for tourist or professional photographers for outdoor work. An adjustable tapered bellows was extended via rack and pinion movement and locked in place by endless rods. Made of select mahogany and brass hardware. The back provided ground glass focus with swing adjustment. The front provided rising adjustments. The New Pattern Cheap Taper Bellows Camera was made in four sizes including 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inch priced at £2 17 6, a whole plate size priced at £3 17 6, a 10 x 8 inch priced at £5 2 6, and 12 x 10 inch priced at £6 15 0.
