  New Pattern Cheap Square Camera

Jonathan Fallowfield introduced this camera called the New Pattern Cheap Square Camera in circa 1898. A traditional design with long square bellows and rigid front. Made of select mahogany and brass hardware. Fitted with a rack and pinion back movement and rear ground glass focus. The back provided swing and the front provided rising and cross adjustments. The New Pattern Cheap Square Camera was made in four sizes including a half plate priced at £4 7 6, a whole plate priced at £5 10 0, a 10 x 8 inch priced at £7 2 6, and 12 x 10 inch priced at £8 12 6.
