  Pocket or Satchel Camera by J. Fallowfield

The Pocket or Satchel Camera was advertized by Jonathan Fallowfield in 1883 with reference that it was introduced in 1874. Described as a compact camera adapted for dry plate photography that offered many advantages to the tourist including simplicity, lightness, and portability. It was capable of taking exposures 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches on double dark slides. Priced at £2 2 0 in 1883.
