The Photo Master camera was manufactured by the Monarch manufacturing company in circa 1940s. This common style inexpensive candid camera was similar to the Dasco and Churchill. It was designed to be able to capture sixteen exposures on no. 127 or A8 film. It was constructed of plastic bakelite with a built-in optical view finder and metal face plate. It was fitted with a simple meniscus lens and time and instantaneous shutter.
