The Bolsey B (Red) 35mm Camera was manufactured by the Bolsey Corporation of America from circa 1947 to 1956. The Bolsey B Red covered camera was the same camera as the Bolsey B black covered caemera. Both featuring a coupled, split image range finder built into the camera. The camera was constructed with a metal body covered in black imitation leather and the exposed metal parts were satin chrome plated. It was fitted with a Wollensak f3.2 coated Velostigmat 44mm lens. The shutter was self cocking with five speeds ranging from 1/10 to 1/200 of a second, time and bulb. The camera measures approximately 4 1/8 x 2 3/4 x 2 5/8 inches and weighs 16 ounces. Originally priced at $55.90 retail. An optional flash unit utilizing medium base bulbs was also available.
