The Bolsey B2 35mm US Army Camera, or camera PH-324A, was manufactured by the Bolsey Corporation of America from circa 1950. The Army version of the Bolsey B2 was the same as the production B2 except it was manufactured with an olive-grey covering and black metal finish. The top plate is engraved "SIGNAL CORPS U.S. ARMY"" and other identifying information including the AF contract number. Like the B2, it featured double exposure prevention and a built-in synchronized flash. It had a built-in coupled split-image rangefinder, depth of focus scale and a film load indicator. It was fitted with a coated Wollensak f3.2 coated Anastigmat 44mm lens. The shutter was self cocking with five speeds ranging from 1/10 to 1/200 of a second, time and bulb. The camera measures approximately 4 1/8 x 2 3/4 x 2 1/4 inches and weighs 15 ounces.
